Have you had trouble getting your onan generator to start?
Congratulations on your trip. Have you had trouble getting your gasoline onan generator to start?
RE: Onan generator starting issues. We haven't had an issue at temperatures above 10F. I use the oil viscosity recommended in the Onan manual and change the oil at appropriate intervals. We run the generator about an hour per month. We run it continuously under 50% load as recommended by Onan.
